Takedown process

A comprehensive walkthrough of the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) process.

Phase 1: Evidence Gathering

Before filing, we compile a dossier proving bad faith. This includes historical WHOIS data, screenshots of the infringing content (if any), server logs showing traffic interception, and proof of your established trademark rights.

Phase 2: Filing the Complaint

The complaint is submitted to an approved dispute resolution provider, such as WIPO or the National Arbitration Forum. The complaint must explicitly address the three mandatory UDRP elements.

Phase 3: The Response and Decision

The respondent has 20 days to reply. After this period, an administrative panel (usually 1 or 3 experts) reviews the evidence. A decision is typically rendered within 14 days of panel appointment. If successful, the registrar must transfer the domain within 10 days.
